Moving on...

Last day in Dartington... Last blog update in Dartington.

Finally just finished unpacking my room, its taken about a week! its scary how its all gone so fast, i can remember so clearly moving in last September, i was bricking it, didn't know what do to, who to talk to etc... like everyone i guess. But now its over! its crazy, but i cant wait to be home again, (i will miss everyone) to have

an amazing summer, of working and chilling before my big adventure!

This year has pulled out alot of new songs and music that will always be played with that remembrance of Dartington (the good and the bad times).

Few more hours left till Anna picks me up and the trip down the M5 home.

Tired. But I've been thinking about writing on here all evening, but havnt had the chance yet...

Had an epic weekend. Surf, Sun, John Mayer and Anna. What more could i want?!?!?

John Mayer was incredible! First time ive been him live and defiantly not the last, i dont know how anyone could up that performance. Playing from Room for Squares, Battle Studies, Continuum and Heavier Things and ending with SOS Message in a bottle, i was speechless.

Now at Uni... Last Week :D Final Performance on Thursday and then im done! Totaly stoked!

One more week left in Dartington...

So one more week... last week happens to be the most rushed out of the whole year. Pretty much all year we've had no work to do, and now we have fu*kin loads. Cheers then. Its gone so quick, like real quick, i suppose its a good thing "over and done with" but i dont want my youth to vanish that quick.

But i cant wait to be back home. chilling, surfing, seeing everyone again. Everyone back from travels, Uni... its gunna be a summer of stories i bet.

June is gunna be good for gigs. North Devon Fest, Pilton Festival, Gold Coast and a few more popping up.

Finalising the travels now aswell, looking for work in Canada is becoming abit hard, and looking in to routes down California. And ive found the accommodation for Hawaii!

Its all piecing together!

Fire Fire...

I now stink of bonfire.

Another beach party at Down End Croyde. One of hundreds of gatherings we've had to celebrate birthdays, end of school, end of college, amazing weather... And there always full of things to remember. Or forget...

Now its the end of the weekend, and im packing up for my return to Dart... two more weeks and im home for good. Sun, Surf and Somerfeild

Travel Plans...

Im Home! back from uni and in Braunton and I love it, although ive gotta try and plan more of my big adventure, which is becoming more of a chore than expected :/ So far the plan is. To Fly out from London to Calgary Canada at the end of October 2010, spend 4months in Banff snowboarding and working (hopefully get a nice visit from Anna), to then meet up with Maff (unless he gets his work visa in time) and travel down from San Francisco to LA stopping off at all the main spots... Malibu, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, etc... THEN OUT TO HAWAII!!! to surf,chill and heat up for a month, then home via New York.

Its gunna be awesome!

But ... its taking ages to sort it all out :/

Visas :(

Time :(

Work :(

But im sure it will be all worth it!

Also now trying to plan a tour of Alberta State (Canada) and California for me to play at as many venues/bars as possible to boost my music and experiences (which i can use in my sept back at Uni when i return).

My Music - Even though ive just put one post up, I realized ive got more to say then just what im doing and where I am.

Being at Dartington so far (which if you heard me on BBC Radio would know) hasnt exaclty inspired me with my music, but, it has given me the time to focus on my music and to push it hard for people to hear live and listen to online.

Ive recently been asked to play at Goldcoast Oceanfest in Croyde, which has been a big achievement for my music and extremely nervous/excited :s And I really hope I get recognized by some one that could help me with my music.

Able to buy tickets from there site, which is ... on the poster :)

Other then Goldcoast ive got a few gigs scattered around Devon, which you can see on my myspace - www.myspace.com/harryfricker, can also take a listen to some of my tunes as well :D

The Plan...

My first entry? Never thought id get a blog, but I realized its the best way to go about letting everyone know what im doing and where im going. Writing this from my room in halls at Uni (Dartington College of Arts for those who dont know). Listening to a newly recorded track of mine, and trying to note down my travels and where to go and what to see.
